Playing since the age of 11, Matt was captivated by the guitar at an early age long before he would even own one. Though largely self-taught he had very talented instructors who pointed him in the right direction during his younger years of learning the instrument. His influences span a wide genre of musical tastes and styles including SRV,Robben Ford,  to players like Andy Timmons,Joe Bonamassa, and Eric Johnson ,as well as a host of other known guitar greats. From his early teen years up to the present Matt has played with many different types of bands;Country,Hard Rock,Blues,Progressive Rock,proving himself as a versatile guitarist. Matt strives to play the expressive, melodic style he is known for.
